Cucumber cups filled with spicy tuna. A nice alternative for a carb-free, freshening lunch.

I made a spicy tuna salad with canned tuna, Japanese mayo, Sirarcha, and sesame oil. In this case, I also added some fried red onion pieces for some extra crunch and black sesame seeds for garnish.

It’s not always easy to get fresh sashimi-grade tuna, so canned tuna works in a pinch. Also works great in sushi rolls if there are picky eaters that aren’t a fan of raw fish. Just dress up the spicy tuna salad with strips of cucumbers, avocado slices, shiso leaves, etc. This would be great in a sandwich with potato chips and tomatoes… just sayin’.
